Meet Charlie.
She is two years old and is quite the ball of energy, which means she cannot sit still. In fact, we had to chase her around and feed her various snacks to bribe her to cooperate. But it just added more fun and silliness to our session. Charlie and my two year old Summer have quite the relationship. On both their six month session they had matching spring flowers and in their nine month session we dressed them up in sailor outfits and photographed them in a boat by the lake. They basically had the same photoshoot. Then I realized on Charlie’s two year old shoot, I bought the same exact polka-dotted shirt for her two year session. So, basically all I am saying is they are meant to be best friends.
For Charlie’s second year shoot, we had a cowgirl theme. She was so cute in her little denim shirt and pink boots. At this shoot, I thought the toughest part would be trying to coax Charlie to sit still, but I was very wrong. For this session, I decided to have my parent’s pony Oreo in the photographs. My dad brought him over and let him eat hay in the background. Usually, Oreo is tied up, but my dad insisted of letting him off the rope (even though I insisted that I could photoshop the rope out). The next think I knew, Oreo realized he was free and began running home…across 67th Avenue during rush hour traffic! We all watched in horror, anticipating the worst. Thankfully, he made it across safely and my frantic father got him back to safety. Phew! That was a close one. Other than that, the session was very successful!
Now, check out the charming Charlie below.
Happy Wednesday!
