Peoria Family Photographer ~ Family in the cotton field!

I knew this mama from high school and have seen her via Facebook through mutual friends in the last couple years.  I have loved watching her family grow from a distance (yah, I know, I am starting to sound like a stalker), but her, her hubs, and her baby boy are so incredibly cute!  So when she contacted me to photograph her family I was so happy!  We worked on clothing and colors but I struggled to find a “perfect” location until a few days before her shoot when I stumbled upon this piece of heaven.  I have been wanting to photograph in a cotton field for years and just never found the time to find a great spot.  These fields are seasonal and they are in full bloom right now so it was such great timing!  So it all just clicked.  Clothes and colors, location, and a very photogenic family…..what more could I ask for!  Her little 2 year old Cooper was a wiggle worm but licking branches, throwing rocks, eating leaves, and letting him knock me over got this little guy to smile!  I’m pretty sure I ate a bit of dirt, but there is nothing I won’t do for a photo.  Gia and Danny, you are welcome to be in front of my lens whenever you want.  =-)  Love them!
